Hi all,
CHECK REHEARSAL CALENDAR OFTEN
I just wanted to ask that you check the rehearsal schedule on the google calendar weekly. Because I am juggling jobs this year my schedule sometimes changes with a short notice.
Also - one of my staff members is out (her husband had a heart attack (he's okay now) but she will be out for awhile. We are training in someone new to take on her stuff, but for now, I have to take on some. There is already a change for September 28th.
I would love to meet with the Costume and Props departments soon and would like to hear from Lights and Sound about availability so I can bring Mark in to meet with you too.
We will begin building sets next Saturday - the 29th.
Fall Comedy Participation fee
We talked a bit about a participation fee for the play. We are asking $25 from everyone involved. This will pay for t-shirts for all as well as the meal that is served to us between the matinee and evening show on the Saturday of the run. You can bring the money to me at rehearsals - cash or check made out to "Highland Theater Friends and Family" (please note: theater is spelled -ER).
If you are unable to pay the fee, just talk to me privately. You can still get a tshirt and join us for the dinner.
Department heads - I need to get tshirt sizes from everyone working in tech as soon as possible.
Please get your list of crew and their sizes to Drew or Izzy by October 7th. Please make sure your crew are linked to the blog and the remind.
I would like to schedule monthly Theatre Club meetings for everyone interested in theatre.
The presidents will send out a notice to everyone with dates soon.
Reminder that I need ALL original One Act Play scripts give to me by October 1st. The One Act Director's meeting is for Juniors and Seniors but the Directing Classes are for anyone who wants to learn how to direct. The One Act Directors must attend these sessions, however.
I am in the building every day 6th hour - if you have questions, please find me before or after class or in the theatre before any rehearsal.
